I have had multiple job interviews where I had to describe why I would be the best person for the job and I know that I'm going to have to do more job interviews in the future. Jenna
I have had to speak during different job interviews to prove that I am capable to perform the job. In a few months, I will have to give a speech at my sister's wedding.
I have encountered speaking opportunities with job interviews and when I took Film As Lit my freshman year. I think that I will have many speaking opportunities in the future having to do with jobs or any kind of profesional ordeal.
I have encountered many speaking opportunities throughout my careers. Being a captain on the football team and having to speak in front of m y team to get them motivated and the school at pep assemblies takes the cake. I also work in retail so I am constantly lecturing people on what to buy and how the products I sell them will benefit them. I have also had multiple job interviews as well. I still see myself speaking in front of people in the future for my work and the football team. Steven Reedy
I have had alot of speaking opportunities, being someone who likes to be in plays and musicals, I have had many lines and songs that I have memorized and spoke infrount of a whole audience. Also in the future I see my self being in more shows and also I can use my speaking skills at a job interview when I need to talk about how I can make the right qualification.
As lame as it might sound, I get speaking opprotunities almost every time I am out doing something with my friends. They are both very shy, and I almost always have to do all of the talking to the waiter/cashier/police officer, whoever it might be at the time. I will also have many opprotunities to speak infront of people as a senior mentor, as we have to present and talk to our freshman. I will expect to have many speaking opprotunities as an adult, presenting my new design ideas for cars in front of my co-workers and boss. -Jesse Keller
I had to give a speech once in third grade about how I felt about going into fourth grade. I wrote the speech but never had to actually give the speech in front of the class. I don't know of a time in the future when I'll have to give a speech.
I'm always talking in front of people trying make points because I'm always arguing with someone about something. I've also used it in looking for a job and a lot when I had creative writing, freshman year. As for the future I hope to be a politician, so I'll hopefully have opportunities to be in debates and to give campaign speeches.-Matt
Speaking oppurtunities I've encountered in life are mostly giving presentations for projects in school and talking to the soccer team. Also, I will have to speak in front of the freshmen this year because I'm a senior mentor. I will have to speak during jobs and interviews in the future.
In the past I have had little speaking encounters because I have chosen too. I have never been one to get up infront of alot of people which is why im taking this class. I know I will have tons of speaking encounters later on in life because I want to be a youth pastor. I will need to speak confidently infront alot of teenagers. That will be the biggest speaking task I will encounter.
I don't usually speak in public, I have only spoken in English when we have to give speeches. I have some opportunity in sports because teammates need encouragment or extra motivation, but that's not that much. Hopefully, I have a lot of encounters later in life because i plan on becoming a teacher and a coach. As both you have to talk in front of your students and players everyday in class and at practice. If i can't speak in public I might have some trouble doing those jobs. Thomas
I have spoken several times in front of large groups. At my church, I did the readings on Sunday for a few years. You aren’t writing what you are reading, but you still have to study so you don’t look down at the paper constantly. I have also spoken in front of some large groups in scouts. In middle school, I spoke to the upcoming 6th graders to get them to join art club. Soon I will be making an acceptance speech at my eagle ceremony. I also maybe talk to the middle school kids to join cross country.
one speeching opportunity i encounterd was when i was in my bisness manigement class and i had to present a power point to the class. sence i am not good at speeching in front of the class i thought i try my best and whale every one was still talking i claped my hands together as loud as i could to get the classes attenshen. and i started to present. in the future speeches that i know i will probly encounter is probly when i go get a job interview or if i decide to go to colledg.
I have had several experiences when i had to make speeches, mostly with sporting events Alot in this years football season because of the fact that im a senior and i have to be a leader. Later in life i think i will have to give a lot more speeches in job oppertunities and hopefully future sporting events in college.
I have very many speaking oppportunities such as ready poetry out loud. Also I enjoy participating in plays. I am also a goal keeper so in my soccer game I would have to yell at my team mates a lot. Later in life i think that i would have to use speaking in jobs and in family life.
i only spoke to my friend im real clos to an i dont like speaking in public im real shy like when ppl ask me my name i speak low i dont know why.--visna
I had to give a speech at my uncles funeral a whiole back and i also had to give my boss a speech at my job so i could get the job i have today. -Cody B
