If i were telling a story about one of the past football games i have had i would probably have a frown on my face because of the fact that we have lost two games so far and have only won one game. I would probably have some fist punds involved and also some head nods indicating that im a little dissapointed.
A story that I like to tell is when my brother squirted my grandma in the back of the neck while she was cleaning out the refrigerator. The nonverbals I use when telling this story are I act like I'm cleaning out a refrigerator. Another is I look up as though I'm searching for a leak just like she did. Lastly, I change my voice patterns so that they match my grandmother's better.
I might tell someone about the surgery I had on my heart when I was six. My heart was at a lower place then it should have been and after the surgery, I had to wear a chest brace. I would point to where my heart is, where my heart was, and the area my brace covered.
A story I would tell a friend would be how i am diabetic, and i could use nonverbal communication by Pointing to my arms legs and stomac to show where I give myself shots. And I would use number s on my hands to show how many times a day I have to get shots, and the last way would be I would maybe frown/shurg my shoulders/ because it's not the gratest thing in the world but I deal with it.
I WOuld tell the story about how ignorant moms and dads like to yell at me about my driving in the old high school parking lot after school before practice. I would describe how I gave the woman a very dirty look, pointed at her when I said i didn't do anything wrong, and how i clapped at her when she almost hit another car after she was done telling me how to drive. There was also shoulder shrugging and lots of facial expressions. I hate people. I would also describe the other non-verbals I wanted to show her.
I would tell a story about going down the Cuyahoga River on an inner tube. We went tubing after a summer run. It took two hours to ride 4 miles. I would be smiling while I was telling the story. Also, I would use some hand gestures to help explain when I fell into the river. Some movement would also be necessary to help explain the excitement of going down the rapids.
I would tell my friend a story about going to the mall and seeing a really creepy guy wearing a shirt that said "drunk chicks love me". (this actually happened). The nonverbals i would use would be laughing, nodding my head, and using my hands a lot to express my seriousness about it.
I would tell my friend a story about when we were in Ocean City and it was raining very hard and we had to run back to the hotel. I would use body movements to indicate running. Then when we were in the hotel room waiting for my friends dad, he popped into the room, wearing a very form-fitting poncho. I would use a high pitched voice for saying he "popped" and then I would use hand motions to show the tightness of the poncho on his head.
I would tell the story about the time my car lost all of it's coolant in the parking lot of Summit racing. I would make a quizzical look, because I was initially not sure what was happening. Then I would look angry and pretend to hit the trunk of my car once I realized what happend, because I coulnd't drive it anywhere until I fixed the problem. I would also look considered because I was worried about the price to fix it.
I would tell a story about how I destroyed my friend's porch by way of car. I would use hand motions to describe how the railing ricochetted off of my car and flew across the driveway. I would show the surprised look that i had on my face as I was speeding away. I would also use facial expressions and I would change the pitch of my voice to imitate my friend's dad who laughed when he found out, but was slighty upset that I ran over his flowers. Jenna
I would tell a story about when I woke up during surgery when I was about ten. I was having my tonsils taken out and the anesthia apparently wore off. I woke up and tried to scream, which was definitely not a good idea. During this story, I would point to my throat, raise my eyebrows to emphasize, and have an angry look on my face because the doctor was an idiot.
I would tell a story about how I watched a really interesting show lastnight. Its called "The vampire diaries" I would use my hands to describe the height of one of the characters. I would frown when I talked about on girl almost getting killed twice by a vampire. I would emphasize the word creepy when I talked about the way they looked after they smelt blood. It was a weird show that I dont think I will be watching again.

I would tell a story about hunting or a hunting trip. I would use non verbals like holding a gun, up and downs in my voice during gutting, and dragging a deer i could put strain in my voice because its a pain dragging them.
